I am always working on my emergency kit and I didn't have a fire starter. I did a lot of research and talked with my husband and this is the one we chose, now I just wanted to put it into the box and be done with it, but my husband, being a man, had to play with it! It was really easy for him to get the paper lit and it works great!! Does what it is supposed to so you can't ask for anything more!
