This light is very bright!! The side of our house is crazy dark! We needed a light that we could mount on the house and shine down. This has I think 3 modes, I wanted it to just turn on when it senses movement. It's solar which we have no shortage of sunshine here in Southern California so that is really nice but what I thought was interesting is that it is magnetic. So you don't screw the thing into the house and mount it, you mount the bracket it comes with (however we needed washers with ours, which didn't come, but we had them on hand) Easy peasy and quick install. It gives a ton of light and is very effective.
