I want to start off by saying I received this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review. I got it because we have some really nice quality knives that have just dulled over the years and I can't stand the sharpener sticks they come with (I always toss them) so I was so glad to try this. Now I was reading the questions and some reviews and I want to say it clearly states on the package it is NOT for serrated knives or scissors! I wish it would fit scissors but it doesn't so don't get it for that. I also have ceramic knives that I was hoping it would work on but honestly I'm afraid to try it because I would be devastated if I ruined my favorite knives. It doesn't say anywhere on the package that it cannot work for them but I'm too scared to try. However it did work well on my other various knives I had which is awesome to have them back at their full capacity again! I definitely recommend it!! :)
