I am admittedly a yoga newbie so in my search for a yoga mat I came across this one. I love how long it is, being taller (5'10) it's nice to have something that is long enough for me. It's so great that it has such great traction because that was something I was worried about and just starting out I tried yoga without a mat and my feet just slid on both our hard wood floors and carpet. I am excited to actually be able to get through poses properly and without any slipping and discomfort. The thickness is great and it just feels really good when I use it.Another thing I loved about this is that it is made with 100% recyclable material! Puts my mommy mind to ease that it isn't made with any harmful toxins and harmful materials. I have 3 little ones running around and that is very important to me that they are safe and can participate with me unharmed.Love this yoga mat!!
